Built-in tools
Elarune includes the commerce tools skincare stores commonly need, built into the theme with Liquid, CSS and on-demand JavaScript. Each tool is configured in the theme editor and uses your Shopify data — no additional app is needed for these features.
How the built-in tools work
Every tool on this page ships with the theme. The tools render from your own store data — products, variant inventory, metafields, the cart and customer records — and are switched on, arranged and styled in the theme editor. Where a tool depends on a Shopify feature, such as automatic discounts or Shopify Flow, the setup steps below say so.

Tool-by-tool guide
What each tool does, where it appears and how to set it up:
1. Volume & tiered pricing
Built in · Product block
Placement
Product page, above buy buttons
Uses
Variant price & quantity
Requires
Shopify automatic discount
Presents up to three quantity tiers — for example a single item, a duo and a trio — each with its own label, quantity, percentage and optional badge such as "Most popular". Selecting a tier sets the quantity in the product form.
How to configure: Open Theme Editor → Products → Default Product → Product Information. Click Add Block and choose Volume Pricing. Set tier labels, quantities, percentages and badges in the sidebar. The block displays tier pricing; create a matching automatic discount in Shopify Admin → Discounts so the same price applies at checkout.
2. Back-in-stock sign-up
Built in · Buy buttons block
Placement
Product page, sold-out variants
Uses
Shopify customer tags
Notifications
Shopify Flow or your email tool
When the selected variant is sold out, shoppers can leave their email in a keyboard-accessible dialog. The form creates or updates a Shopify customer tagged back-in-stock, restock:PRODUCT_ID and restock-variant:VARIANT_ID, so you can notify them when inventory returns using Shopify Flow or your email marketing tool.
How to configure: Included in the buy buttons block. The sign-up appears automatically whenever variant.available is false. Build the notification in Shopify Flow using the customer tags above.
3. Low-stock indicator & batch details
Built in · Inventory block
Placement
Product page, below price
Uses
Real variant inventory
Setting
Threshold of 1–30 units
Shows a restrained stock status based on the variant's real Shopify inventory. When tracked inventory falls below the threshold you choose (for example 10 units), it displays the number of units remaining. Nothing is simulated: there are no timers or artificial counts. An optional batch detail (for example, Batch #026) can be shown alongside it.
How to configure: In the Theme Editor product section, locate the Inventory block. Adjust the Low stock threshold slider (1 to 30) and turn the batch detail on or off. Inventory tracking must be enabled for the variant in Shopify Admin.
4. Quick view dialog
Built in · Product cards
Placement
Product card grids
Accessibility
Focus management & Escape to close
Lets shoppers on collection pages inspect a product, switch sizes and add to bag without losing their scroll position. Built with keyboard navigation (Tab cycling, Escape to dismiss) and native dialog behaviour.
How to configure: Active across product card grids and collection templates.
5. Formula & texture comparison
Built in · Section
Setup
Theme editor section
Skincare shoppers often need help telling similar serums or creams apart. This section places ingredient profiles, primary benefits, finishes and skin types side by side, using the product information you provide.
How to configure: Add the Product Comparison or Texture Lab section to any template via the Theme Editor.
6. Before / after image slider
Built in · Section
Placement
Homepage or product page
Controls
Touch drag & arrow keys
Setup
Two images and a label
Compares two images with a draggable divider — useful for texture swatches, application steps or results imagery you are able to substantiate. Supports touch dragging on mobile and left/right arrow keys, with an ARIA slider role.
How to configure: Add the Before / after section on your Homepage or Product page. Upload two corresponding images and add a label (e.g. "Texture vs. finish"). Only show results and claims you can substantiate.
7. Routine chapters & step cross-sell
Built in · Section
Placement
Product page & homepage
Uses
Complementary products
Setup
Shopify Search & Discovery
Guides shoppers through a multi-step routine (for example Morning Cleanse → Active Treatment → Night Seal). Shoppers can add the recommended routine products in a single step.
How to configure: Use Shopify's free Search & Discovery app to assign complementary products, or configure the Routine Chapters section.
8. Sticky add-to-cart bar
Built in · Section setting
Placement
Product page, on scroll
Shows
Image, size & price
Slides into view once the shopper scrolls past the main buy buttons, showing the product thumbnail, selected size, current price and an add-to-cart button.
How to configure: In Theme Editor → Product Information, check Show sticky add to cart.
