About the studio

Commerce engineering, measured rather than promised.

Mufatech Studio is the commerce division of Mufatech, an independent software company. The studio builds Shopify themes, moves stores from WooCommerce to Shopify, and publishes guides in which every figure links to its source.

What we do

  • Shopify themes. Valmont, for watch and considered-goods brands, and Elarune, for beauty and skincare. Both are built on Online Store 2.0 with conversion tools inside the theme, so merchants need fewer apps.
  • WooCommerce to Shopify migrations. Fixed-price moves that carry products, customers, content, SEO fields and a 301 redirect for every URL, delivered through a private preview store the merchant reviews before paying.
  • Free tooling. A readiness scanner that reads a WooCommerce store's public data and reports catalog size, plugin replacements, redirect count and a price estimate in about 20 seconds.

How we work

We are a Shopify Partner. Client stores are built as Shopify client transfer stores, which means the store stays in our partner account until you have reviewed it and chosen to take ownership. Your existing store keeps selling for the whole migration.

Every migration ends with a QA report that compares record counts between the old store and the new one, so gaps are listed rather than discovered later. Performance is measured with Lighthouse before and after the move.

We say when a store should stay where it is. Marketplaces, content-first sites and stores that depend on deep custom checkout logic get an honest "not yet" instead of a proposal.

What we publish

Our migration guides cite primary sources such as HTTP Archive, Patchstack, Wordfence, Sucuri, Baymard Institute, W3Techs, Store Leads and the PCI Security Standards Council. Figures published by Shopify or WooCommerce are labelled as vendor-published, and claims we could not verify are marked as such. Guides are dated and updated when the underlying data changes.
