Sense: how many Shopify stores run it, and how fast it is.

Sense is a free theme in the Shopify Theme Store. In the September 2026 crawl of the web it ran 9,205 of 716,063 Shopify stores with real visitors, 1.3%, which makes it the #13 theme by use. For real visitors, 82% of 4,320 measured stores pass all three Core Web Vitals.

The HTTP Archive crawls the home page of every site in the Chrome UX Report once a month and records the storefront object Shopify prints on the page, including the theme name, version and Theme Store id.
