Horizon: how many Shopify stores run it, and how fast it is.

Horizon is a free theme in the Shopify Theme Store. In the September 2026 crawl of the web it ran 45,031 of 716,063 Shopify stores with real visitors, 6.3%, which makes it the #2 theme by use. For real visitors, 75% of 21,192 measured stores pass all three Core Web Vitals.

The HTTP Archive crawls the home page of every site in the Chrome UX Report once a month and records the storefront object Shopify prints on the page, including the theme name, version and Theme Store id.
